Questions about buying

How do we pay, and who sends the invoice?

Subscriptions are sold through Paddle, which acts as merchant of record. Paddle takes the payment, calculates and adds the sales tax that applies where you are, and issues the invoice. Your invoice and your statement show Paddle rather than MarkR Management Inc.

Team, Program and Enterprise, and packs of 25 deals, can be bought against a purchase order; Single negotiation is bought by card, with an invoice on request. We quote, you issue the PO against the quotation, and Paddle invoices you on net 30 terms: the invoice is payable within thirty days of its date, so your service starts when the PO is accepted rather than when the payment clears. The details your accounts payable team needs are on the how to buy page.

If your organization is exempt from sales tax, as most public bodies and many unions are, say so when you ask for the quotation, before the invoice is issued.

What is not charged for?

The other side. An invited counterparty takes part at no cost. A negotiation cannot be held hostage to whether the counterparty has a budget line.

People. There is no per-seat charge.

Storage. Your documents sit in storage you already own and pay for. Termsroom holds pointers and fingerprints, so there is no volume to meter.

What support is included?

By email at support@termsroom.com, during British Columbia business hours (Pacific Time), with a response target of one business day. There is no separate implementation fee.

Refunds and renewal

A full refund of the first term if you ask within thirty days of your start date and your account has not been used for a live negotiation. We give forty-five days’ notice before every renewal, and any increase is capped at 5% a year. Prices for purchases after October 31, 2027 will be published here before that date. The detail is in the refund and cancellation policy.

If your organization cannot commit funds beyond the current appropriation, say so at the quotation stage. A US public sector addendum covering this is being prepared; until it is published, we will answer the point in writing with the quotation.

Is there a SOC 2 report?

Not today. The SOC 2 Type I audit engagement is scheduled to begin on Thursday, February 11, 2027. An independent penetration test is scheduled for Thursday, November 5, 2026. The stage and the scope of both are on the trust page, and we will write a date into the contract with a remedy attached rather than offer a reassurance in a meeting.
