From award to signed contract, in one place
The award is made. Now the contract has to be finalized with the vendor, and the contract file has to show who was sent which draft, and when. A deal gives that one contract a shared room for sixty days.
The problem
Drafts go back and forth by email between the contract officer, the vendor and counsel. Somebody reviews a superseded copy, and at the end the contract file is rebuilt from an inbox.
How Termsroom handles it
- Every draft is kept in order with its date and who sent it, and each version is compared with the last.
- Each clause still under discussion is listed with its status, and each one both sides agree is recorded.
- Your side has a private room for internal notes and approvals. The vendor sees only the shared table.
- The vendor joins free and needs no storage of its own.
What you end up with
A dated record of every version, who sent it and what was agreed: the part of the contract file that is usually rebuilt from email.
Where procurement offices use it
Contract finalization after an RFP award
Settling the terms with the selected vendor before signature.
Renewals
A supply or services contract coming up for renewal, with the vendor’s marked-up copy.
Cooperative and piggyback agreements
Terms for a purchase under a cooperative contract.
Amendments and change orders
A change to a contract already in force, with the history kept with it.
What it costs
Your first deal is free. After that, a deal is $150 for sixty days.
- Five deals are $500 and twenty-five are $1,945. A thirty-day extension is $50, up to two per deal.
- A pack of 25 and Deals Unlimited ($4,995 a year for up to 25 people) can be bought on a purchase order with net 30 terms.
Launch prices, the same figure in US or Canadian dollars, for purchases made until October 31, 2027. Until buying deals online opens, write to sales@termsroom.com.
Worth knowing
- Termsroom is for settling a contract after an award or for a renewal. It is not a bidding or proposal evaluation system.
- It does not tell you whether your process meets your procurement rules. It gives you a dated record to show them.
- It does not sign the contract. Sign it the way you do today, with your e-signature tool or on paper.
